Persian Tattoo
A Persian Tattoo is a permanent mark written in Farsi (Persian) made by introducing ink into the layers of skin to change the pigment. Tattoos on humans are a type of decoration, while tattoos on animals are mostly used for identification or branding.

Persian Tattoo enthusiasts may refer to Persian tattoos as, "Persian Ink," “Persian Tats,” "Persian Art," or, "Persian Work," and to Persian Tatooists as, "Persian Artists". The latter usage is gaining greater support, with mainstream art galleries holding exhibitions of both traditional and custom tattoo designs.
Copyrighted tattoo designs that are mass-produced to tattoo artists are known as "flash", a notable instance of industrial design. Flash sheets are prominently displayed in many tattoo parlors for the purpose of providing both inspiration and ready-made tattoo images to customers.

The Persian Gulf, in the Middle East, is an extension of the Indian Ocean located south of Iran, between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula.
It is both historically and commonly known as the Persian Gulf, however, this body of water is sometimes controversially referred to as the Arabian Gulf by certain Arab countries or simply The Gulf, although neither of the latter two terms are recognized internationally or by the United Nations.
