Troglodyte village in IRAN  700 years old - In the north west of Iran at the foot of Mount Sahand in Kandovan, The villagers live in cave homes carved out from the volcanic rock. The age of some houses is more than 700 years.

Ancient Persian Women

Throughout the ancient world including Persia, both men and women used make-up, wore jewellery and colored their body parts. Moreover, their garments were both elaborate and colorful. Rather than being marked by gender, clothing styles were distinguished by class and status.
