A persian stamp is a distinctive mark or impression made upon an object, a device used to make it, or a distinctive sticker applied to an object among the persian countries.

A stamp may also include other vouchers or records with similar purposes. Types of stamps, and related subjects, include

    * Postage stamps, used to indicate prepayment of fees for mail
    * Revenue stamps, used on documents to indicate payment of tax
          o Philately is the study of postage and revenue stamps
          o Stamp collecting is the hobby of collecting postage stamps.
    * Ration stamps, indicating the right to rationed goods
    * Food stamps, indicating the right to benefits
    * Rubber stamps, devices used to apply inked markings to objects
    * Seal (device), used by a notary public or other authorities for identification purposes
