Tehran has reasserted itself, acquiring nuclear technology and according to the Pentagon, posing problems for US efforts in Iraq. When many Americans go to the polls, Iran is not likely to top the list of concerns, but that's not stopping the candidates from bringing it up as they battle for the White House .
