Iran Opens Atomic Fuel Production Facility

Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced Thursday that Iran had mastered the final stage of nuclear fuel production.  He says they've manufactured the uranium pellets and rods used in reactor cores. Some Western powers suspect Iran's nuclear program is a cover for developing nuclear bombs.  But Iran denies this charge. The Iranian president also said on Thursday that Iran would be ready for talks with the West if they are "based on justice and complete respect for rights and regulations." This comes one day after world powers said they would invite Tehran to nuclear talks. Washington is reacting cautiously to Ahmadinejad's comments.
